The Woman in Black

Teatro Live gleefully joins the fun of Halloween Season with this terrifying and amusing horror thriller which only recently ended a 34-year run in London’s West End. In Edwardian England, a young actor helps a lawyer make sense of a long ago encounter with a mysterious apparition who invariably leaves death in her wake. "A real theatrical spine chiller...A truly nerve shredding experience." says The Daily Mail. “It is profoundly effective and will scare the living daylights out of you!” says The Daily Express. Directed by Andrew Ritchie.

Cycle

If you’ve casually dropped “bike lanes” into dinner conversation lately, you know what it’s like to create a provocation.”

- Liz Nicholls, 12th night blog

DECEMBER 11 - 22, 2024 @ 8:00pm (2:00pm matinees on weekends)

Mile Zero Dance Warehouse (9931 78 ave NW, Edmonton)

Cycle is a solo-show written, developed, and performed by Andrew Ritchie. A story told from a stationary bike explores Ritchie's personal experience, history, and politics of active transportation and cycle culture in Canada. Audience members seated on stationary bikes will be asked to pedal alongside Ritchie as he traverses the dangers and highs of urban transportation and gig work culture. Inspired by true experiences as a bike food courier in Toronto, and the financial and physical precariousness of trying to 'make living' in Canada, Cycle will get your blood pumping and cultivate a new respect for the two-wheeled travel.
