Acting

Andrew originally trained at the University of Alberta in Edmonton with professors David Barnet, Mike Kennard, Jane Heather, Jan Henderson, Alex Hawksin and Sandy Nicholls.

During his MFA in Theatre at York University he trained with professors David Smukler, Michael Greyeyes, Erika Batdorf, Paul Lampert, Eric Armstrong, and Shawn Kerwin.

Andrew has attended workshops on Intimacy (Siobhan Richardson), Pochinko Clown (Mike Kennard), Neo-Bouffon (Adam Lazarus), Chekhov (Brenda Bazinet), Shakespeare (Peter Hinton, James MacDonald), Stage Combat (Simon Fon, JP Fournier) and multiple on improvisation and comedy.

Acting highlights include

  • Performing as his Pochinko clown persona ‘Tang’ (2009-2015)
